Library Resource List
Results from the annual IS User Survey reveal that many students complain that recommended texts are not available from the University Library. Information Services use lecturers. reading lists as the basis for collection development, and for ensuring that their collections stay up-to-date and user-centred. In order to do this, it is necessary for you to send your essential and recommended readings to library staff so that they can improve their collection and service to users.
Not all lecturers are using traditional reading lists in order to direct students towards recommended readings. If you are using other methods to provide this information, then the library would like to hear from you to discuss how they can best support you and your students.
Thank you for your co-operation in this basic but important aspect of improvement to the student experience.
Please either use the template below to submit your recommended texts (paper or electronic) to the Lending Team at the appropriate library. Or you may mark items on your readings lists directly within ARMS.
Any enquiries should be directed to Mrs Rhiannon Jones, Lending Team, Hugh Owen Library, email: lenstaff@aber.ac.uk .
